How the amount is calculated
The abono is 1/12 of the minimum wage in force at the time of payment (R$ 1,621.00 in 2026) for each month worked in the base year; 15 days or more count as a month, and the amount is rounded up to the next whole real (Lei 7.998/1990, art. 9º, §§ 2º to 4º):

The table published by the Ministério do Trabalho (the Labor Ministry) shows R$ 675 for 5 months; by the rule of the law, 5 × R$ 1,621.00 ÷ 12 comes to R$ 675.42, which goes up to R$ 676.
Who is entitled in 2026
- an average salary of up to R$ 2,766.00 in 2024, with an employer that contributes to PIS or Pasep;
- at least 30 days of work in the year, consecutive or not;
- registration in PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years;
- data correctly reported by the employer in eSocial (the federal payroll reporting system) by Oct 13, 2025.
The salary limit comes from Emenda Constitucional 135/2024 (a constitutional amendment): two minimum wages of the base year of the 2025 payment, adjusted by the INPC (the national consumer price index) from 2026 on (Ministério do Trabalho).

The money is available until Dec 30, 2026. Those who worked for a private company are paid through Caixa (PIS); those who worked in the public sector, through Banco do Brasil (Pasep). The 2027 calendar, for the base year 2025, is approved by the Codefat council; the calculator will be updated when it is published.
